Belousov Zhabotinsky reaction

24/09/2019

The Belousov Zhabotinsky reaction is a classical non-equilibrium thermodynamic reaction, resulting in the establishment of a non-linear chemical oscillator. This reaction is far for equilibrium and remains so for a long period of time and evolves chaotically. The Belousov Zhabotinsky reaction has been mathematically analysed using differential equations and a simple model has been built with mathlab.

This work was a classroom task for the subject Systems Biology and data was provided by Kepa Ruiz Mirazo.
